by Matteo Ceschi

Giulia Gasparini (1990, Lodi) her multidisciplinary practice includes photography, painting, performance and installations. Born in Lodi and educated by catholic nuns and Nature she is fascinated by rituals, since she was a child, irreverent and provocative, always in search of truth. She began there, observing the relationship of women with their own body and the link with the sacred. In 2017 she has been chosen as ‘strong female artist’ by Nike and became their ambassador in Italy, performing ‘Burn Baby Burn’ project. Truth, history and spirituality lead the artist to have a '' divine '' relationship with Art which, according to her, has the power to heal the world through beauty and truth.
Her art was included in the Italian Encyclopedia of Art and selected for the VII Jinan Photography Biennial.
